Simbu = Salman, says Sonu

Will STR match up to Salman Khan in 'Osthi', the Tamil remake of Bollywood blockbuster 'Dabangg'? Well, this question in K-Town in the recent times has now received answer from none other than Sonu Sood, who had played the baddie in both the versions.
"Simbu has got the same mass appeal that Salman has in Bollywood. And the actor has really worked hard for Osthi. I am sure that his character will strike a right chord with Tamil audience. Osthi and Simbu will repeat the magic of Dabangg and Salman," he says.
Heaping laurels on the film's director Dharani, Sonu says, "There were some loopholes in the Hindi original. A smart Dharani has filled all of them with interesting things. He knows clearly what would work with the audience and made the film according to popular demand."
With Richa Gangopadhyay playing the heroine, 'Osthi', which has music by Thaman, will hit the screens this month. The shooting was recently over with the cast and crew, including Simbu and Soonu, completing the climax scene, in which STR be will seen with a six-pack.

Simbu posted a glimpse of his six-pack still from 'Osthi' in his networking page over which fans went gaga.
