The singer-actress has landed a role in Vetri Maaran's new film
Andrea has bagged another plum offer. After reportedly being roped in by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan for his Viswaroopam, the actress will now be seen in director Vetri Maaran's next, Vada Chennai.
While it isn't clear if she will be paired opposite Simbu in the flick, we hear that the girl has an excellent role in it. We had earlier reported that the National Award-winning director is looking to cast Amala paul and Tollywood actor Ram in the film, but now, he has confirmed that it's Andrea and Rana, who is a known face in Tollywood, who will be part of the project.
He says, "Andrea and Rana have been confirmed to be part of the film. Andrea will be doing a very important role in my film, and the character will bring out the best in her. There's another female lead in the flick, and we are currently scouting for an actress to portray the character. In all probability, it will be a newcomer."
While the rest of the cast and crew are yet to be finalized, we believe that the film is likely to go on floors by February.
